Travis Wetlands was so fun. Room eleven learnt about the bugs that live their!😄

Room 11's beach trip

Yesterday room 11 went to the beach. We learnt that we should protect the sand dunes because bugs and birds live there. We got to make sand dunes, act like the waves and wind and decorate our sand dunes. Here are some pictures.😎

Library Books

Hi all,

With the end of the year approaching fast, please check that you have no school library books laying around. We have a number of students with well over due books some from the beginning of the year. If books are not returned a bill will be issued to replace the lost book.

Term 4

Welcome back to a very busy term 4 ! With this in mind please remember the following things:

Please make sure you have enough stationary to last to the end of the year.

Drink bottles - the school has been provided with a drink bottle for each student that now belongs to them. They only get one so if it brakes or is lost please send them with a substitute. (refer to previous newsletters for more detail on this fantastic initiative).

Beach trip with be on Monday the 4th of December and parent helpers are a MUST for this to proceed so get organising.

HATS !! It is term four which means no hat no play so please remember to get the school accredited hat.

Beach Trip

Hi all, due to the weather we have decided to postpone our beach trip tomorrow. A new date will be set once we have discussed with the CCC.

Swim week P2

Wow! What a fantastic week of swim safety. Everyone had a blast and learnt heaps ! Big shout out to room 10 who according to the instructors did the best listening, participating and general behaviour of the week. Here are some pictures, enjoy and feel free to leave a positive comment.

Wetlands Trip

We have a new date for our make up trip to the wetlands. We will be heading there on the 29th of September which is the last of term. A new notices will be sent home very soon. The more parent helper the better !!

Calendar Art

Please see below the art work the students of Room 10 have submitted for the calendar art exercise. Order forms have gone home and the students are very proud of their efforts.

Parent help

Kia ora, 

As you are well aware this term we have many E.O.T.C trips which require parent helpers. Next one being Travis Wetlands on Friday 1st September. If you or anyone of age known to the students is able to help us out of this or any of our other trips that would be greatly appreciated. 

Room 10 

BNZ Closed for good

With 23rd of August being BNZ's annual Closed for good, Room 10 were lucky enough to have Karyn volunteer her time to teach us about money, savings and spending. It was amazing to find out how much the food we have in lunches cost!
